How Long Will It Take To Get Into Normal Life Routines After Laminectomy?
My question is ; my 24 year old son had a laminectomy of the T12, T1 and T2 for removal of a tumour on his spinal cord. He was in hospital 2 weeks and was released yesterday. He is unable to have bowel motions and used a catheter for urination. Will this change, will he get back to normal?

1.He will be normal post operation on average in 2 weeks time.
2.But he will not be allowed for weight bearing, and active physical activities for at least 2 months.
3.Make sure he will not lift heavy weights, and recommended bed.
