How Long Will It Take To Recover Blood To Stop From Throat?
Sir tomorrow some blood came out from my throat few times and i went to see a doctor who is chest spealist. He to ld me after seeing the x ray of my chest that it is not tb or cancer but due to excess smoking. I would like to know from which place the blood came out and will take how much time to recover.
Chronic smoking can lead to cardiac problem, damage to lungs and increase acid secretion. Increase acid production and damage to lung can cause blood in cough and sputum. X Ray chest can not predict site of bleeding. To know it, investigations like Bronchosopy and upper GI endoscopy are helpful.
For treatment quit smoking and then remain abstinent from smoking. If you are not able to stop smoking yourself, then for deaddiction you can meet nearby psychiatrist.
