How Long Will My Medical Report Show Positive For Opiates?
I am applying for a new job. I had ankle surgery and am currently taking hydrocodone at a therapudic level. If I am hired, I am required to take a urine test which at this time I would show positive for opiates. My question is how long will I show a positive result once I quit taking the hydrocodone.
Most drugs of abuse including the narcotics stay in the system for one week at the most. Generally about 5 days and I seem to have had a couple patients this year where it went negative in 3 days. 1 week is a safe answer.
