How Long Will The Effect Of Morphine 60 Mg Last?

hi, I have severe pain. I go to a pain doc. for 11yrs. and prescribe Methdone 90mgs a day and Oxycoden10/325 ev. 4hrs.. I had left leg amputed 11yrs ago. but today I am have in more pain then the normal if I take 60mg morphine how long will it stay in my system?

What is the dosage suggestion of your Morphine 60mg, for instance, how many times per day has your doctor recommended you utilize the medication? I would use that to assess the length of the potential effect. For instance a medication scheduled for every 3-6 hours for pain, can reasonably assume the avg length of effect is 3-6 hours. Nonetheless, sometimes this is not the description of medications shown on the bottle, as it may simply state 3-4 times per day for pain. In that instance, one can assume 24hours/3-4 for full sleep included pain relief, and thus an expected effect of 4-6 hours.

Alas, every patient is different, as is the effects of medications on their physiology, particularly in the case of niave patients (Those not medically treated by opiods previously) and those on chronic and or lasting use of Narcotic medications. For the latter, the effect and potency of the medication for these individuals will likely be diminished in comparison.

I suggest you talk with your pain doctor as he best knows your, your habits and your body's response to previous regimens.
