Hallow Mumma,
Placenta paevia is the condition you have got. In such condition, the bleeding from the
uterus due to placental separation takes place. Such bleeding is painless, causeless and recurrent. Usually, the first episode of bleeding is light, however, the subsequent episodes may be very heavy. Hence your doctor has very rightly advised you to take
bed rest. Moreover, whenever you go to bathroom or rest room, please do not latch the door from inside; in any emergency, someone should be around and should be able to open the door. Always tell someone whenever you are leaving the bed.
Now the question of Ghee. Some amount of fat consumption is required, particularly during
pregnancy for the absorption of fat soluble
vitamins. The energy will be provided by carbohydrates and the tissue building will be taken care of by
proteins. 5 gms of Ghee (1 teaspoonful) daily - particularly Chows ghee is advised daily.. Please do not ignore the consumption of more proteins. Eat plenty of pulses, legumes and nuts. If you eat meat, fish and egg is very good source of proteins. Please do not eat big fish as they are harmful for the baby.
I hope I have given you comprehensive advice.
