How Safe Is Taking Roaccutane And Steroids For Dissecting Cellulitis?
Hi my dermatologist said my daughter had dissecting cellulitis which is a rare form of acne - large scabs on head and face with pustules. No bacterial infection or mites or fungus. Treating with roaccutane and steroids. Is treatment usually successful
Dissecting cellulitis is Perifolliculitis capitis abscedens et suffodiens or perifolliculitis capitis a rare condition of scalp, the treatment with roaccutane ( isotretinoin ) and oral steroids or direct injection of steroids in the skin of scalp is the most effective treatment. (You can not use isotretionin during pregnancy). Ask me if you have more questions.
