How Safe Is Taking Tranexamic Acid For Heavy Bleeding And Clots?

Hi I just had a cervical cauterize and hysteroscopy d & c two weeks ago. It has stopped bleeding for after ten days of the surgery. It started bleeding heavily and clotting again in the last five days. I admitted to the hospital and got check out by a gyno. She asked me to take tranexamic acid to help with the bleeding and antibiotics through an iv. She also requested me for a pelvic ultrasound. The result from the ultrasound shows nothing abnormal so she sent me home with the antibiotic and tranexamic acid tablets. She told me to go to gp two days later for results of the swab and blood test. The results shows no infection so I stopped taking antibiotic since yesterday but the bleeding had started again yesterday. Could you please give me some advise what I should do. I will have an appointment with my gyno in three weeks time. Thank you so much.
