How Should Alesse 28 Day Pill Be Taken?

I ve been on birth control, the alesse 28 day pill for probably around 6 months now. the last two months the pills have not lined up. Last month my period came a day early (the day i would have taken my last pink pill) then this month it came 2 days early. it came today (tuesday) and should have came on thursday. My question is, after i finish all the pink pills should i still take all the white ones, or only take them until i finish my period?
