How Should Stomach Stabbing Pain, Indigestion And Swelling Be Treated?

I had my gallbadder removed in may of this year. Recently i have been experiencing a pain in my right side of stomach. it feels like a pulled muscle most of the time but with stabing pains every so often. Ive had really bad indigestion the last couple of night to the point of swelling in stomach area and almost throwing up. what should i do. am i over reacting

Hello,

It's possible that you may be suffering from acute gastritis or peptic ulcer disease or irritable bowel syndrome or post cholecystectomy syndrome or food intolerance etc.

Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. Avoid lactose and gluten contain food.

Use tablet pantoprazole.

If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
