Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic.

Skinlite cream contains a potent steroid, mometasone. Skinlite is usually prescribed by dermatologist for treatment of melasma. It should never be used without the supervision of a dermatologist because early side effects can go unnoticed by the patients. Moreover, it should never be use for long on face because it can cause side effects like acne, hirsutism, photosensitivity, and skin thinning and telangiectasias.

You did the right thing by stopping it. 10 days is not too long a duration that you applied. The early whiteness/bleaching effect that you got with skinlite should reverse by itself in 2 to 3 weeks time.

Regards
