Dear sir i can understand your concern in my opinion your diabetes is not under control the medication what your are using is a powerful medication which can exhaust pancreas very quickly when compare to other, considering using of insulin for a short period is a good idea since it will make your pancreas to recover and enable your tablets to work better there after. kindly follow daily exercise schedule and diet i suggest you to consider using new and better medications like DPP-4 inhibitors along with combination of metformin (janumet,galvusmet,jalra-m). kindly speak with your treating doc for dose information regards
