How To Check For STD?

hello,

iam a 20 year old male student, i stay in edinburgh uk when i was 15 5 years ago i engaged in unprotective sex with the same sex as i was curious at the time he was the same age and it was first time for me and i also think him as well but iam still anxious after all this time after and havent had sex since and iam not gay but straight now! do i have to be worried about something do i have a high risk of having a disease?

Unprotected sex whether it is vaginal, anal or oral, is a risk factor for STD's. If it was the first sexual encounter for both of you then I think you have nothing to worry about.
However, since you cannot be 100% sure about your sexual partner therefore I suggest you to get yourself tested for STD's, specially for HIV, Genital herpes and Syphilis (RPR/VDRL).
Moreover, certain STD's like Genital warts (manifestation of Hpv infection) and Genital Herpes(caused by herpes simplex virus) can remain subclinical/hidden for months and years, therefore if you ever notice any ulcers, sores, warts or bumps in the genital or perineal region you must get yourself checked with a venereologist.
