How To Completely Stop Usage Of Alprax?

due to the nature of my job, on the advice of a doctor I started taking half a tablet of alprax 0.25 mg. now it has been 3 years. intermittently I had stopped taking it for at least a month at a stretch. now for the past one week I have not taken any dose. I feel ringing in the ears and headache. I need to remind you that I have cervical spondolysis as well. please advice how can I completely stop the usage of this drug.

Hi,Dear.Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC.
If you find it very difficult to sleep without ALPRAX then you can switch to another alternative such as ZOLPIDEM 5 mg as an alternate because there are no withdrawal symptoms.
and probably the ringing and the headaches are due to cervical spondylosis inspite of alprazolam withdrawal.So do physiotherapy exercise daily,use cervical collar and maintain a healthy diet .You will be fine.
