I am 6 weeks post surgery for 3 separation fractures of my tibia and 1 of the fibula. I am still experiencing pain that makes it difficult to sleep and have any quality of life. I am still in a non-weight baring cast and wheelchair. My doctor has been on vacation and now is back but have only been able to talk to his assistant. How long should I experience a level of pain without seeking further medical treatment?
