How To Cure Chronic Head Pain Due To A Mutation?

yes, my son has chronic head pain due to a mutation, which in turn causes spin cerebella ataxia (the mutation) it is a calcium channel defect, my query is: he has chronic head pain and depression, do you know of any thing that may stop the continual head pain, Doctors have tried, but to no avail, he goes to a Neurologist, but that does not help either Thankyou

Hi,
I am sorry to say that SCA(spinocerebellar ataxia) does not have any cure as such.Only symptomatic treatment is what can be done at the max.So,NSAIDS on sos(at the time of headache) basis and mental relaxation exercises like meditation/yoga may help.Hope that helps.
