I just got my tongue pierced three days ago. My gums just below my six front teeth are very swollen and discolored right where the gums and lip meet. My bottom lip is also noticeably swollen. What is going on? My tongue looks fine. Just a little swollen still but heeling well, no puss, no discoloration. I used sea salt the other day as recommended by the piercing artist. And that's when it all started.
