How To Cure Dislocated,oblique,spiral Fracture On Left Lower Tibia Close To Ankle?

I have a dislocated, oblique spiral fracture of my left lower medial Tibia very close to my ankle, I also fractured my upper lateral Fibula. My Tibia was surgically repaired using a plate and screws which extend over my ankle bone and will remain for 1 year..Nothing yet has been done for my Fibula the accident occured while traverseing fairly flat terrain with a slow twisting fall I see the Ortho Dr this Tues and don t know what to expect.. I am a heathly active 57 yr old woman and am concerned. JoAnn

Hello madam, though you did your best to describe your fracture , a x ray can give me better information. I suggest you to send me x ray so i can diagnose if you need a plate for fibula also. Usually fibula is not fixed during surgeries. Send me x ray i will try my best to help you.
