How To Cure Fracture At The Middle Of The Right Toe?
Didn't know this would co$t me. (On second thought, I'll just wait till my appointment on Thursday.) Thanks anyway. I had an oblique (turns out spiral) fracture of my proximal phalynx of my middle right toe. Didn't know for two weeks that it was broken, and thought only sprained/jammed. As swelling went down, alignment is off slighty and a tiny bit shorter than same on other foot. I had an x-ray at two weeks but was not told it was a spiral fracture till an appt with podiatry at 4wks. Will be x-rayed again next Thurs. Will my foot be okay? Does the ( bone collar?) or the bone smooth down? Very frustrating and upsetting that I did not go to emergency on Jan 6th when I slammed my foot into my wall mirror.
i have studied your case and i can assure you that it does not seems to be a big issue. Toes fracture usually have good result and tend to unite very well. Are you having pain or not. If pain is already going down that means it is in uniting phase, and if it is hurting a bit, Soon this will be better. Avoid putting any strain on your toes. And donot ramain in standing position for long time either. I hope in 3 weeks your foot will be ok.
