How To Cure Itchy Area At The Back Of Mouth?

I have an irritated/itchy area in the very back of my mouth (the gum area right behind my right upper wisdom tooth). The area feels rough. No bleeding or discharge and it is really not painful. Just feels irritated. I think it is on the hard palate (in the V area where my mouth flexes).

Hi, the rough area you are describing on the palate can be because of an infective or irritant focus in the vicinity like teeth or gums. A dietary habit might contribute in it like drinking very hot fluids or use of tobacco etc. Local application of triamcinolone gel helps in solving the problem. If the problem persists, see an ENT and a biopsy may be required. Regards
