Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i am on tramal hydrochloride 100 mg 2ml injections. I have server back pain. I was on oxicotin 60 mi for 3 years. My problem is nothing is working anymore. I was told by a friend to inject the tramal strait into my vein and I would get better releaf is that true.
Simply, increasing the dose of an analgesic medication or changing the mode of administration (by I.V.route) will only masks or suppresses the pain but that is not going to solve your problem as the root cause for your back pain is not being addressed.
So, unless proper diagnosis for your back pain is made and the root cause is treated, your symptoms will stay with you.
I suggest you to consult a spine surgeon for a detailed clinical examination and further workup (xrays & MRI scans).
Hope this information is helpful. Good day
