How To Cure Severe Discomfort In Coccyx Bone?

Hi, i am 17 weeks pregnant. I weigh 150, im 20 years old and im 5'4. In 7th grade I fell and severely hurt my coccyx bone. My obgyn says it will not bother me when I give birth, but when i walk my back locks up, or when I am sleeping I cannot move to switch positions. Can you give me a second opinion on what I should do?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Pregnancy has its many difficulties and uncomfortable moments. Do not worry about the discomfort now ma'am as it is considered normal even in women who have not had a history of injury. As long as your x-ray is normal and it does not interfere with your delivery, there should be nothing to worry about. If at all the discomfort persists after delivery, you can write back to us or meet a doctor for the same.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
