How To Cure Squamous Cell Carcinoma ?

I had a perianal fistule , I had a surgery on the 6 th of Nov 2013 the surgeon took of a biopsy and sent it to be analyzed. The result advised that there is a squamous cell carcinoma , well defferentiated and surgical margin are free. My question here if do I have to make another surgery for a wider excision or I can attend some radio therapy session. For further clarification I can provide you with the reports. Thanks to advise.

Hello
Thanks for the query to HCM Forum.
Wider excision ?
Radiotherapy?
It depends upon the surgeon , who operated for this fistula .
2nd point is spread of metastasis .
I would recommend you visit an oncologist and get his opinion as squamous cell carcinoma is dangerous if untreated well in time.
Oncologist will advise you surgery or radiotherapy .
Good luck.
