How To Ease Constipation While Taking Pain Medication?
I have been a pain patient for the past 15 yrs. due to failed back syndrome following numerous back surgeries and fusions.Knowing my constipation is caused by the narcotics I take,I've exhausted every drug out there to 'help' have a BM.
Any iudea's?

Hello,
Constipation caused by narcotics can be severe and a challenge to treat.
I would suggest to use polyethyelene glycol and gradually increase the dose till your constipation is relieved.
I would be helpful to know which narcotics you are taking and which laxatives you have used till now and in what dose
