How To Get Of Hyperpigmentation In Nose And Chin And The Whiteheads?

Hi Doctor,

I have hyperpigmentation in my nose and chin and also whiteheads. I am 27, female. I am going to get married in the month of May. I am right now using Retin A at night. But i didnt find any good result, instead those places looks dry and skin is peeling of. Please help me getting rid of this.

Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

Hyperpigmentation needs to be treated with a skin lightening cream containing one or more of the following agents e.g kojic acid, glycolic acid, hydroquinone etc.

Apart from this you need to use a broad spectrum sunscreen, that which offers both UVA and UVB protection through out the day.

Retin -A contains topical tretinoin which is an effective comedolytic and may cause skin peeling and redness. You should use it sparingly, once daily at night or on alternate nights.
