Suggest Remedy For Recurring Pimples On Face

Hi, I'm 26 and I've been getting these white pus filled (pimples?) in my T-zone on my face for the past 3 years. I've gone to see a dermatologist twice, but I get a strong feeling that he just gives me random acne medication to try out. I've tried out Epiduo, Retin-A, Clindamycin phosphate and the anti-biotic amoxicillin. The first 3 medications practically have no effect. Amoxicillin works to an acceptable extent, but these white pus filled pimples eventually make their way back. Lately when I get these pimples, I usually get 1 to just a few. I have one right now underneath my nose that developed yesterday. I wish I knew why I continue to get these. I have a feeling that my skin pores on my nose and around it are too big and they end up getting clogged easily. I've tried out a few of those facial scrubs to clean out pores, but ultimately that doesn't help too much either. Are these actually pimples or maybe something else is going on inside my body? These white pus pimples can form fast...sometimes within 4 hours.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have recurring pimples on face due to over activity of sebaceous gland which are situated on the base of hair follicle .They start producing excess sebum .sometimes they get infected by bacteria and pus is produce in pimples . I would suggest you to keep you face clean and moisturized by washing it twice a day with light face wash ,use cream containing benzoyl peroxide and lactic acid, use makeup which do not clog your pores means oil free makeup, use sunscreen while going out, drink lots of water .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
