How To Get Rid Of Recurring Fever?
my son 3.8 years old develops fever almost on monthly basis and wen he gets a little cold cough or running nose, the fever goes so hi that on two incidence he convalsed and was told its febrile convulsions. kindly advice me on management of fever, symptoms,preventive and curative drugs i can use.

Febrile convulsions are caused at the height of temperature.
Paracetamol 15 mg/kg body weight every 4-6 hourly depending on the fever.
Tepid sponging repeatedly to reduce fever.
Frigium an anticonvulsant is given during fever to prevent convulsions.
Of course it is better to consult pediatrician to find out the cause of fever.
