How To Get Rid Of Sharp Pain In My Shin Area?

About a month ago I banged my shin area on a corner of the bed frame. It hurt and I jumped around for a while. Id think by now I should be 100% again but I notice if I rub the area I get a sharp pain. By looking at it you cant see a difference from the other leg. Just wondering if it could be a blood clot.
