Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic Acne is due to over-activity of sebaceous glands. Since the sebaceous glands are already working overtime in those who have acne, therefore it is not uncommon to develop acne after castor oil application OR using anything which is oily. It is important to keep your skin free of oil as much as possible, without over drying it. I would suggest a gentle cleanser e.g cetaphil cleansing lotion, twice daily for face wash I would suggest you to use a topical antibacterial e,g clindamycin phosphate gel for active acne. A course of an oral antibacterial e.g doxycycline 100 mg, twice daily would help in bringing about faster control of acne activity. For post acne marks and pigmentation you could use kojivit gel during day time and Azaleic acid gel (Aziderm) for night time use. Always use a broad spectrum sunscreen gel, 1/2 hour before stepping out in the sun. An Oral Vit C supplement would also help with pigmentation. Rather than trying different products and experimenting with them, I would suggest that you seek an appointment with a dermatologist and discuss the most appropriate specific treatment for your acne and post acne marks.
