How To Get Rid Off From Post Menopausal Cramps And Severe Pain?

I had a saline sonogram yesterday for post menopausal bleeding. Not my first one. However I am still experiencing terrible cramps where I find it had to stand up straight more than 24 hrs later. This did not happen first time. I experienced pain during and after first time but not this bad

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think the cramps could be due to hormonal changes of the uterus and not related to the procedure. Unless there is something wrong they found out and further investigated.

I advise taking paracetamol or mephenamic acid to ease the pain. Increase fluids intake. If still, no improvement should follow up with your gynecologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
