How To Overcome Sore Stomach Feeling Caused After Operation For Laparascopic Rectopexy?

since my operation for laparascopic rectopexy last April I have suffered from a very sore stomach, it's as if someone has scraped it with sandpaper. Drs and consultants have diagnosed this, eventually , as perhaps IBS. Even a glass of milk first thing in the morning sets it off. The only time I have any relief from it is when I am lying down. Any suggestions please?

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the Day

Irritable bowel syndrome is diagnosis of exclusion, meaning thoroughly investigating for the known causes of symptoms by doing appropriate investigation. And if on thorough investigation no cause is found, then it can be labeeled as IBS.
If Upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy along with Ultrasound of abdomen and stool examination done have revealed nothing then it can be labelled as IBS.

Take Care

Best Regards
