I would keep a possibility of post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and acne scars
If I was the treating doctor I would suggest that you use a gel based sunscreen, that which offers both UV A and UV B protection, throughout the day.
Once daily azaleic acid cream can be used at night, at the start of therapy. Azaleic acid works for both acne and pigmentation.
For acne scars, a dermatologist usually has various option like chemical peeling, dermabrasion, Fractational CO2 Laser, Dermaroller etc. You should visit a nearby dermatologist and have a fair discussion for the best option to benefit your acne scars
