How To Overcome The Inflammation In Leg After 30 Hours Of Intake Of Clindamicina?
I have been diagnosed with celulitis on my lower right leg, I was first on claritromicina 500mg 1 tablet per 12 hours for a week, it got better but spread to my left leg. I was given another course which i was told to take 1 every 8 hours for a week. I was off antibiotics for a day or two, it then returned in my left leg and was given clindamicina 300mg which i took 2 every 24 hours for a week. I took my last pill 30 hours ago and my leg is inflamed and getting red again, what should I do now?
From your description, it looks like your less has developed cellulitis. Although you have been on antibiotics since quite sometime now but it looks like the infection is not yet under control. Any increase in redness, development of tenderness, pain and fever can be signs that 've infection is spreading I would advise you to see your doctor soon again so that proper antibiotics can be started. Even a pup culture can be done to look for the offending organism.
Hope it helps
