How To Permanently Cure Hypothyroid Without Daily Medication?
Hi Doctor,
I am 27 years old. I have hypothyroid. And i am eating one capsule of thyronorm(125 mcg) early in the morning before breakfast every day. I need a permanent cure for this. I dont want to consume tablets every day and carry everywhere wherever i go??
Hello, I can understand your concern and I am trying to give you some information regarding to hypothyroidism. In primary hypothyroidism the thyroid has lost its function and can not produce hormones which are very necessary for metabolism. They are responsible for the normal heart rate, for a normal function of the intestinal tract, for a normal sleep, weight ect. If you remove the thyroid gland for a couple of months you may go in comma if the hormones are not substituted. So in your case there is an under function of the thyroid gland that should be substituted and unfortunately when the thyroid gland has lost its function, it is irreversible. Until now there is no other way to substitute the thyroid hormones except of taking them every day by mouth. Hope you are better informed now about your query.
Best regards,
