How To Reduce Burning Sensations After Improper Swallowing Of Doxycycline?

I took a pill (doxycycline) and I guess it got stuck in my throat and came up and was caught in my sinus cavity! Its burning! and my nose is stuffed, my eyes started to water and I was burping bubbles... most things have subsided now but the burning is still kinda of intense! What do I do?

thanks for using hcm .the drug doxycycline has got the tendency of getting stuck in the oesophagus .whenever is is presribed i ask the patient to take it in sitting posture and with plenty of fluids .you please dont worry .have the fluids liberally ,this feeling will disappear on its own,if you stillfeel you need help you can go for antacids .
