Hello, i carefully read your question and i understand your concern but you should not be worried.
In fact the normal range for
triglyceride is under 150 mg/dl but they rise immediately depending on you food intake. For example if you had a heavy meal the day before your analyze we expect the triglycerides to be height and this is normal so we don't have to worry. This does not mean that we are sick or that we have problems. The good news is that you have a normal
cholesterol level. We see similar cases in our clinic all most every day. If a was your doctor i will strongly advise you to be 12 hours fasting before taking the
lipid profile, because as i told you triglycerides levels are strongly affected by you food intake. If we have the same result i will recommend you some lifestyle modifications like:
1. Raising your physical activity
2. High fiber diet like green leafy vegetables
3.Reduce some foods like white sugar, bread, pizzas ect.
We should start on this changes and than check the lipid profile again after 2-3 months.
Hope this helps. Wish you good health.
