How To Reduce Dark Scar On Face That Is Caused Due To Chemical Burn?
I have a deep dark scar on the face as a result of a chemical bun. I used an expired antibiotic and sprayed it on the face and it penetrated deep layers coz this is the antibiotic effect and the scar left a big brown patch on the face. I've been seeking treatment for a year and the improvement is slight. I used chemical peeling, fractional laser and bleaching creams but the results are minimal and it's like a big freckle but only deeper? Which speciality of physicians should I seek next and can stem cells method cure me or should I continue only with fractional laser?
All the treatments you mentioned need certain number of sessions to work, but with both fraxel and peel you should have been able to appreciate the improvement. I'd suggest you to continue with lasers in case there has been only one or two sittings you have taken. Other options including consulting your dermatologist about slightly higher depth of chemical peel, but they have their risks mind you.
Also you can consult a plastic surgeon for the same if nothing else works out, and take an opinion.
Hope I helped. Feel free to follow up in case of any doubts
