How To Reduce The Soreness At The Tip Of The Tongue?

I've been noticing a soreness on the tip of my tongue the last couple of days in a particular spot towards the left. When I looked it the mirror I noticed that spot looked very white and it also almost looked like a chunk of my tongue may have been taken out. Do you know how long the soreness will last? Is there anyway to ease the soreness/cure the spot?

Hello,
As you are mentioning that you are having soreness on the tip of the tongue and now its turning white then it looks like aphthous ulcer of tongue, in this case you just have to apply a topical ointment named mucopain or pansoral and it will heal within 1 week.
If it takes time more than that then you have to visit a good dentist for the examination of the lesion.
Thank you.
