Calcium channel blockers do not cause low gut motility.
Your symptoms, particularly, rapid weight gain and constipation/irregular bowel movements, are suggestive of under-corrected
thyroid problem. Once Thyroxin dose is increased adequately, your problems will ease.
The dose of Thyroxin is titrated so as to maintain
TSH level to 1 or less.
