How To Remove A Mole Without Leaving Scar?

I have a mole on the left side of my mouth that I'm really self concious about. Is there a way to remove my mole without leaving a scar? And how would you remove it because it is flat and seems to be under the skin? I am also worried it could be skin cancer.
