How To Remove Black Scar Marks Left By Chicken Pox?
Hi Doctor, I was recently infected with Chicken pox . It is now gone but has left black spots on face. currently someone suggested me to apply locally Evion ( Vitamin E ) capsule on the spots to fade out these. Coconut water is another thing i am applying. Suggest me if there is anything more i can apply to remove these black scar marks. With Regards, Pradeep srivastava Email: YYYY@YYYY
Hi Pradeep,
There are multiple treatment options available to treat chicken pox scars like local application of tretinoin cream, triple combination cream, Azelaic acid cream or Glycolic acid based creams etc. One can also take chemical peels (glycolic acid or TCA peels) or even microdermabrasion sessions. But what would be the best treatment option for you can only be decided once your skin has been analysed. Kindly consult a dermatologist for the same. Evion application won't help you much, in the meanwhile avoid sun exposure and use a good sunscreen. Take care
