Dear Doctor,I am sasireka, age 32.I got married last june.I am wiling have a baby.i have pcos.My doctor prescribed me progesterone tablet to initiate periods and then clomid 50mg from day 5-9 of 1st month.i had my periods after after 30 days.meanwhile i underwent ultrasound to see how clomid works. The results are good and my doctor said there are many follicles and my ovary is responding well.i didnt test for progersterone level in my first cycle. When i informed my doctor i got my periods she increased the clomid dose to 100mg for next cycle (2nd time taking clomid) and did progesterone blood test on 21st day.Today she called me and said my progesterone level is too low and it is only .1 and she said lets wait and see for another 2 day whether i get my periods if not i can take progesterone tablet.tody is my 29th day of my cycle.so what should i do?i am really worried. Will taking progesterone tablet fix my problem? Also i tested for ovulation on day 14th which is positive.
