Hope your diagnosis of shingles or herpes zoster is confirmed by your doctor and you have taken antivirals like acyclovir or valacyclovir. Tingling and itching sensation which occuring is due to post herpetic neuralgia.
It will take some time to stop tingling and itching sensation. You may take tab.atarax 25 mg at night which will be helpful for reducing itching.Raised blood sugar also is a cause for post herpetic neruragia and I will advise to check your blood sugar.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
