How To Treat Bloated And Rumbling Abdomen?

hi doc. im 39 yrs old. 1.84m tall. approximately 90kg and on chronis medication for hyperlipide
aemia for 12 years . i take a statin , carloc and aspirin. lately i have had a bloated , rumblin tummy for the last 5 days. more prevalent when i sit or sleep. can u help?

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
Since you are taking Statin, Aspirin and Carloc for a long time it may not be the reasons for having Bloating and rumbling abdomen which is of a very short duration of 5 days.
Your symptoms of bloating and rumbling can be due to one of the following reasons:
Intestinal infection.
Sub-acute intestinal infection with overgrowth of gas producing bacteria.
Gastroenteritis.
I would advise you the following.
Take Activated charcoal, PPI like Omeprazole, plenty of oral fluid and soft, bland diet. See the results. If no relief, consult your Doctor for clinical evaluation, examination and investigations like tests of stool and blood.
X-ray of abdomen in standing position and Ultrasonography.
A course of an antibiotic, metronidazole and probiotics may help you the best.
