Hi,
Welcome to HCM!
I am Dr. Sridhar and I shall be answering your question.
I am sorry to learn about the incident.
When a dog bites a person, the following things are most important and should be followed:
1. Clean the wound as early as possible under running water and then in a hospital.
2. Observe the dog for any abnormal behavior (
rabies) and inform the doctor,
3. Take Antit-rabies
vaccination.
4. Take a TT injection (
tetanus) if you haven't taken one in the past 5 years.
From what you have written, it seems you have done all the above mentioned things, especially anti-rabies and tetanus vaccination. Nothing else has to done apart from this.
Observe the dog (if possible) for atleast one week for any abnormal behavior.
Yes, he can take his normal diet. Try to give him a diet having high protein values such as egg, soyabean, meat etc.
Alcohol doesn't interfere in any way with regards to a dog bite. It is only a myth.
Hope this information helps. Feel free to ask if you have any doubt.
With regards
Dr. Sridhar
