Yesterday, my son was sledding and was thrown off and hit the side of his head on some hard ice/snow. He s having a lot of pain--it hurts to eat so it seems the pain is in the joint where the jaw comes together. When I give him tylenol, he will then eat some soup, but that s about it. He also says his ear hurts and feels like it has water in it. Is this anything I need to be concerned about or does it just need to heal?
Your child might had got spasm of muscles required for eating i.e.masster spasm. You should visit doctor if this symptoms persist. doctor may advise you x-ray of that region.
