Hypothyroidism is basically lack of thyroid hormones in the body. It depends upon severity of hypothyroidism, amongst other factors, whether a patient with hypothyroidism is to be treated or not. However, whenever a decision is made to treat hypothyroidism, levothyroxine supplementation is usually a part of the treatment plan.
The above prescription does not seem to have that. So I suggest you to see an Endocrinologist and have him/her review your case history and reports in detail, and then decide upon the treatment plan.
