How To Treat Inflamed And Swollen Knees During Menstruation?

For the past year, I continue having inflammation of my knees during my menstraul cycle. Sometimes it s both knees, but it s always one. It gets tight on the inside like it could cramp feeling. On the outer, my muscle/ligament is like a knot that needs to get deep tissue massage, but knees get a lil swollen too. I play comp. Beach vball & have to compete even on my period. How can I overcome these new disabilities? Diet? Ibuprofen?

Hello,

These symptoms are due to inflammation caused by hormonal imbalance during menses. So you have to take anti inflammatory drugs like paracetamol or ibuprofen. Also apply warm water pad and ice packs on affected areas alternative.

Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
