Hi, for about 6 years now I get 4 to 5 raised bumps on my face, that itch a little. After I touch them or press on them, I notice a little head of fresh pus forming. This bursts after a few minutes then I have an open wound (the size of a pin prick) that scabs and lasts for about a week. I didn't really suffer from teenage acne and now I'm 42. I've been to many dermatologists and allergists who have said it's stress related. But it can't only be that can it? It's now affecting relations with my partner. Many thanks
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have red bumps on face which could be due to clogged pores of skin, hyper-pigmentation of skin and excessive exposure to sunlight and hyperactive sebaceous glands which produce excessive sebum is another cause for this. I would suggest you to start with topical application of Saslic DS which is face wash you should use regularly and gel containing clindamycin in the morning and benzoyl peroxide at night time. You should visit dermatologist once and get yourself examined. Recent methods are used for acne removal such as Chemical peeling, dermabrasion, Dermaroller. You can go ahead with these as well with proper prescription for permanent cure. Drink plenty of water.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
