How To Treat Klebsielle Oxytoca With Iliac Fossa Pain?
Hello, i was recently dx of having klebsielle oxytoca in my urine after complaining of serious lower abdominal pain radiating from my back(lower,around my lumba region).Also i complained of srious continues pain during my ovulation period which ofcourse it used to be just 1 or 2 days.Also serious R and L iliac fosa pain toward my period for days which at first i used to have it just 1day prior to my period but lover abdominal pain. I just started treatment with ciproxin 500mg bid x 3days. I am 34yrs ,wt is 65kg,ht 1m 68.please help me.

klebsiella oxytaca is capsulated gram negative coccobacilli. this organism is resistant to routinely used antibiotics. you have urinary tract infection with this organism. you are right now taking the ciproxin. this drug is routinely found resistant to this organism. so you should choose the drug which usually concentrate in the urinary system and active against this group of organisms like cephalothin, lomefloxacin, norfloxacin, cotrimoxazole. i am giving you a pharmacological name here, brand name may vary country by country.
