How To Treat Left Atrial Abnormality And Irregular Heart Rhythm?
what does an EKG report mean that says possible left atrial abnormality and irregular heart rythym... was on medication that was stated that it can cause this, will it go away since Im now off of this medication, I have never had heart problems ever other than a murmur
hello, I have gone through your query .Thanks for using HCM.As you have mentioned that you have murmur,it suggests that you some valvular abnormality ,though may be mild as you are asymptomatic.left atrial enlargement may be secondary to mitral valve lesion irregular rhythm may be due to mitral lesion itself or medication.if it disappears then you may conclude that it was drug induced .I suggest you to get Echocardiogram done to know the cause of murmur and severity of mitral lesion Dr.Rajesh Teli,MD
